I was at the office yesterday and while we were having our Christmas party I decided to quick check the USCIS website because we got touches for the last 2 days...and I was so excited to hear some good news. Then the update Date changes again and when i opened it...we got this message:

Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On December 18, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

and

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On December 18, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I was Oh My God :o :o :o Yes I was sooooo happy that we're done on the first step and moving forward to the next...more waiting comings but at least I am a step closer to my husband now weeeeeeeeeeee.

Gosh I wanted to kiss my husband so bad when I read this message. I'm so happy we did it right...I remember we had some arguments while gathering the papers co'z my husband had no idea what to do so I was the one dictating him step by step...take note, he's not patient enough to deal with papers....and I am not patient enough to be a coach hahahahah I know more papers coming...so goodluck to us  Honestly, I don't know what to do next...I have no single idea. I'll be doing a lot of research on this site today...hope I'll get some info. Btw, we're going to proceed to CR1 since I heard it is better than K3...right? What do you think guys?

This is the best Christmas gift for us!!! Happy Holidays...We hope that everyone will get a good news from USCIS too.

Lots of thanks to VJ/ers,

Edward & Marycris

Thank you thank you thank you so much guys. I may not know all of you here but I feel like we belong to one family...that shares almost same experience from being apart from our love ones.

Actually, until now we still can't decide which VISA is best for me (CR-1 or K3). I just wanna know how long does it usually take to complete the process from the date of approval of petition if we proceed to CR-1? We want to spend our first wedding anniversary together that's why we're hoping to be done before April 4th.
