I know she said she went to the beach.. but HONESTLY... how long could that take? :unsure:

Ask that to the two brits who went to the beach in Dubai and didn't come home for awhile... :lol:

OMG, you guys are a hilarious!!!! :lol:

Wow. I go away for a few days and I have missed so much! Holy smokes. Don't know if I'll ever catch up! And our original Off Topic thread has been locked! :crying: Well, at least I'll be able to read it without people adding onto it while I'm trying to catch up. :lol:

My parents were here visiting for a couple of weeks and we went to the beach for a few days. It was fabulous. I'll upload pics once I get them off my camera. Woke up one morning to a fantastic storm. It was craziness. Unfortunately, I didn't get pics of it because I moved wrong and threw out my back. Was in horrible pain for days. Had to go to the chiropractor and the acupuncturist. Sheesh. Doing much better now, but still feeling pretty beat up. Especially after losing my balance and falling over yesterday and hurting my wrist trying to break my fall and banging my head in the process. Hopefully it knocked some sense into me. <_<

yay, hubby isn't having his wisdom teeth pulled out tomorrow... it will be sometime next year :dance:

they needed a doctor's ok because the last time he had dental work he got an infection which caused a cyst in his neck.... and we had faxed the doctor the form but he said that because he hadn't seen David in awhile he first had to see him before he could give his ok... oh and it looks like when he does get it done he will have to be on antibiotics for about a week before the teeth are pulled...

the only thing is that I made a special trip to the grocery store yesterday to buy him stuff that he could eat after he got his teeth pulled :P... oh well, it won't go to waste ...

So I finally took some pics of my colouring fiasco from last week. Too bad I left them on the camera like an idiot (I took everything else off of course) But this is from summer when I did the exact same thing:

I just did the exact same thing again, split it in half in a zig zag pattern, then did the top red, and the bottom black. I like the way it turned out!

I knew you were coloring - but it was a fiasco last week? what happened?

LOL the whole thing is a fiasco. I have to get the perfect zigzags all the way around (always takes forever and is never right...makes me want to pull my hair out instead!) Also, our bathroom is white and dark red hair dye and black hair dye stain. I covered the WHOLE bathroom in plastic (a la Dexter hehe!) and still managed to get some on the counter. Also I have to try to get the red on the right parts and the black on the right sides of the zig zag. It just takes a long time. And a lot of work. But definitely worth the effort in the end!

When I pull my hair back with a clip, you can see the red and black sections quite clearly. Yay!

ok so earlier today my hubby texted me from work.. all it said was "We go snow tomorrow ok?" I replied back with "no snow gear" :P...

maybe he just wants to drive up to the snow... hmmmm
