Im really hoping that things move quickly for you as well.. all this waiting is

absolutely unbearable!

By the way.. what does it mean when you say you had " a name hit" ?

*January 30 2006 - packet returned.....arggggggggg we forgot one signature!!

*January 31 2006 - sent I129-F back to the CSC, hope we did not forget anything else

A 'name hit' means you or your fiancee's name matches a name on a list of suspects with one of several government law agencies, such as the FBI.

AOS Process a fading memory...

01/31/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD package for Olga and Anya

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

Hi,

Whatever investigation we find ourselves under it still does nothing to bring our Loved ones closer. That is the part that sucks. I am over 203 days!!!!! I still waiting for some information from my congressman's inquiry. A name hit is when someone named on the petition is checked through a computer database. It could be a name like yours or your fiance. But it has to be investigated. It sucks when your name like someone who wanted by the government. I beginning to have little faith in this process. I call my love everyday. I am sick without her. I been on reservist currently on active duty for a training upgrade. You think this would get these guys to move quicker. I have not bet on anything. They seem to disappoint me even more.

8/17/06 - Korean Consulate rec'd Petition

8/23/06 - rec'd packet 3 from Consulate

8/27/06 - got confirmation email from Consulate, they rec'd packet three

8/27/06 - requested interview date via Consulate internet site.

9/1/06 - Checked internet site for interveiw date, it was there

*Notification of RFE acceptance 10/2009

*Interview Date: December 4th!

*January 9th: Received 10 year Green Card in the mail :)

We waited 6 months for our NOA2... nearly 9 months until interview. (all togther)

Our congressman came back with the same answer BUT within a week, they had approved us.

October: Waiting

November: Waiting

December: In Security checks

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

No matter how much longer it takes ........ be thankful that your fiance is not from the Dominican Republic.

They have 27,000 pending interviews, and in total, it takes nearly two years to obtain a K-1 visa!!!!

6/29 - NEW I-129 mailed to CSC

7/21 - NOA1 issued

9/21 - finally ... my first touch!!

9/21 - NOA2 issued
