Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Salam Awailkum,

Thank you all for waiting by your phones... Reda called and he told me... "baby the man asked so many questions" then he said "do you know what he said?" i said i have no idea right now (head on my hands not able to sleep) he said "your visa is approved"

Then kept his passport and said they will send him a letter in 1-2 weeks and not to open it  not sure about that I think that would be his passport... Alhamdolilah we have no AP!!!!:dance:

i am giggleing how do i sleep now :star::star:

now the next leg of our journey begins........

And I hope to be all with you every step of the way.

I am soooo very happy for you!! I am sorry I did not get back to about the duas and Quran but I was not feeling well and then I pushed myself all day on Eid and collapsed in bed when I got home.

I remember that feeling and its a good one. My husband was going to sing for me our fav song if he got the visa, well he did not sing but he did not have bad news bec. there was the more processing notice. But we only had to wait two weeks and one day at 4am my time , he called , I answered and he was singing.. so its a great feeling .

Just remember after he gets here and then later when you have "those days" because we all have them, just remember back to this time and how we all struggle to get them here. I do that and then it helps alot when your haveing some little struggles here and there.

Alhudulilah this is a blessing and Inshallah you will have a wonderfull life together.
