In the interim, you might try running a fan in your room. The 'white noise' sometimes help drown things out too. I should know - drowns out my neighbor's dog at 4 am quite nicely!!

I still would either call the cops or check w/ the neighbors and all of you call. A horn is hard to drown out - even with a fan!

There is too much freaking noise everywhere all the time. And the police do little about any of it. Unless the offence is repeated constantly for long periods of time and a lot of people complain theres ####### you can do if they dont volintarily shut up.

As more people cluster closer together with more and more noise 24hrs a day.. people start to shoot each other. To me noise is like smoking.. its offensive and anti social behaviour. And Im a smoker!

Just the other day I was in Arlington, VA and noticed two groups of teenagers. One group looked like they were from a decent area, 'ivy league' potential kids, and the other looked like they were from Brooklyn, NY. (based on the bus they got off and their accent).

I'll give you one guess which group was respectful to the dead and well behaved while the other had the I am 'ghetto cool' attitude.. Surprisingly the two girls who rudely pushed in front of me and had that what what attitude were hispanic..

so. for 2 girls that were rude.. all ghetto kids are rude? excuse me but i've met the cockiest and rudest people and u know what, they are filthy rich and study in private college.. in the other hand.. i know people from 'the ghetto' and they are very nice and humble.. also, technically my dad is from a 'ghetto' (little poor town in mexico), and, he's one of the most educated man u'll ever meet
