Hi everyone....We received an interview appointment notice for March 27th. I wasn't really expecting anything since our online case status hadn't changed in over a month since we had the Biometrics. I am a little surprised since we are adjusting status from K-1 visa and it seemed to me in reading other posts that a lot of times if you came over on a K-1, you would get to bypass the interview. So much for that wishful thinking!

I forgot to ask in my previous post...so what happens at the interview? If everything goes OK do we get our conditional green card, or is there more to the process?

Hi,

I would not worry. My case has been touched only once(after biometrics) but I already have my interview coming up soon. Touches dont meen anything, you can go without a touch and still be approved. Just be patient. Good luck!

We are in the same boat as well. We sent in our papers in the beginning of December, got our NOAs dated 12/11, did our Bio on 1/9, touched 1/10, and nothing since then. I feel like if we were going to be transferred we would have been by now, so I am hoping that an interview letter will be arriving soon in the mail. I am not worried yet. I think when it gets to be closer to the 90 days EAD and AP is supposed to take, I may be concerned and look into it more. I just keep hoping for the best...

I was browsing through the forums and got curious about something.

For those of you who haven't been transferred to CSC where are your applications sitting at? My online case status indicates that my applications for the I-485 and EAD are at the National Benefits Center (NBC). Are your applications at the NBC as well? I'm wondering if they are supposed to be at the local field offices by now.

For those who received interview appointment notice their cases are in the local office. If your case is not transfered, it is in the NBC

We received email RFE saying app was put on hold on 1/22. We got in mail RFE on 1/28 and mailed it back same day. The letter that requested the RFE said that after they receive the evidence then we need to allow up to 87 days to hear back from them. :crying: Gosh I hope they do not take all that time.

And I hope that those of you who are waiting for the biometrics letter get it in the next few days.. Waiting sucks!! but let's hang in there
