hi all happy 09! that's the year we all will get green cards, yay!

actually many people with non-gmail accounts asked me for access and I think it does work!

My check was cashed today :dance: now I will wait (patiently sort-of) for my NOA's and bio appt!!

can we update our own records?

I believe only if you have a google e-mail address...

They ask for Affidavit of Support, but I filed it... :blink:

UGH! :wacko: What was the exact wording? Was it just the affidavit itself or is there maybe some specific piece of evidence they are requesting. If it's just the affidavit itself...I assume you kept a copy of the entire packet? You could just fill it out fresh (or re-print it if you saved a copy on your computer somewhere) and send it in. I would include a cover letter stating that the form was included in the original packet.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

Did you use a joint sponsor in the original packet? Is it the I-864 for the sponsor or the joint sponsor?

It is written: "In order to process your application further, submit a completed and signed Form I-864...."

I'm going to send them it again.

I use joint sponsor and I need his signature to send Affidavit again...But he is out of town just right now. He is going to arrive in Jan 12...=(((

oh I am sorry Diazy. but 11 days pass quickly!

I am back from my Biometrics and it was super easy going and quick - the employees at the Brooklyn NY ACS are extremely nice too. I asked if they do walk-ins, and they said they do it on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

I finally cleared my doubt about what is the Biometrics picture for! I found out, too late, that this picture will be the one on your green card AND the EAD! Unfortunately I didn't really go prepared to take an official picture as I did volunteering construction work in the morning =(

So this is for you guys who still have to do it - if you want to look good on your green card, look good on your Bio appointment day! ^_^
