There are plenty of GC holders receiving welfare benefits. It depends on the circumstance.

Wow. It's insane. I just hope Obama can do something about these kinds of things when he's president.

It's not because illegals can deliver a baby for free that it is not fair for us. Illegals faces tones of difficulties: no health insurance, so if they get just a flu they are ######! no retirement funds, so they will work until they die to survive! they will never get well payed. Plus they live in the fear of being caught everyday etc.

I don't think that's a great life. So we should be happy to be legals!

For one I've heard illegal immigrants have babies in US hospitals and everything is paid for. Just wondered who pays for it?

Can legal immigrants get the same trip?

It gets written off.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Pants.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking but if you are asking whether a non-US citizen can apply, then no. They are worried in general about all imigrants in the USA regardless of what visa is allowing you to live here (GC and non-GC holders). The applicant has not paid taxes for very long if at all so they don't really want them to receive benefits they have no yet earned. Hence, the need for a sponsor.

Is that what you meant?

I've been paying taxes for years - where's my food stamps???????

Food stamps are minor. LOTS of people get food stamps plus cash money, car insurance paid, COMPLETE free medical, free rent and no doubt there's more than I know about.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
