Today mark our 9 mos from filling our 1-130 & 8 mos of 1-129F. It's so tiringgggggg, aggreviating, frustrating, NO UPDATE NO TOUCHES from VSC. I guess its true that VSC is for LOVER'S ONLY.:wacko::angry::crying: :crying: :crying:

Mamlou did your husband file a status request inquiry on your I-129F before they changed the processing times yesterday? I was looking at your timeline, and based on the October 19 estimate of 6 months on the 129F for K3, you should have been able to file one. They allow status inquiries when you are one month past the posted time horizon. My NOA-1 on the I-129F was 4/4, and I was able to get the inquiry submitted at the end of last month. Unfortunately, with the processing times now moving backwards, it looks like you would have to wait one more month to file the inquiry for your I-130, and probably at least that long for one for the I-129F K3 (if you didn't do it before the USCIS timelines changed).

Hang in there.

Hope you will get your NOA2 soon!!!

CJGator, did you get any response from your status inquiry you submitted. My NOA1 was 4/11 and I was unfortunately unable to request an inquiry with the processing time moved back. What did they tell you if you got a response?

Thanks

I'm still waiting for it, they have up to 45 days from the time of your request to send it to you before you can ask them what the deal is. My request was accepted on 10/27, so technically they have until 12/12 to get it to me before I can start being a pain to them again.

CJGator, did you get any response from your status inquiry you submitted. My NOA1 was 4/11 and I was unfortunately unable to request an inquiry with the processing time moved back. What did they tell you if you got a response?

I tell you, we need to. It's been a long ride already!

I was willing to settle for Thanksgiving, but now I'll have to revise and settle for Christmas or New Year.

SraCastillo--any updates, touches?

Hillary's office is useless. The local congressman is the most helpful. I recommend that you walk into your local congressman's office and ask for the immigration aide/director who can help. All you need to tell them is that 'I am not looking to expedite my case, but given that I have waited x months already, I'd like to if someone's even looking at my application'. This is all I had to say and it worked. You have put forward a case with these guys saying that you are officially out of the processing times. If you do the math with the posted VSC processing times, you can make a good case with the congressman's office and have them fight with USCIS to get you an approval.

And definitely yes to your other suggestion, once the approvals come, we have to have a few drinks between us NYers on this forum who are waiting for an approval. I know SankuNiku is another NYer and he is also due for an approval any day now just like the rest of us.
