GOOD LUCK with the interview...I'm sure you'll be fine...just be HONEST and make sure that you have everything that was on the interview letter with you including copies for the officer interviewing you...

From our timeline, and good luck BTW!

The interviewer had our whole file in front of us. The 129F, 130, embassy documents, original I134, I485, and EAD forms. He asked her where she was born, what was our wedding date, when did she arrive. He made a little checkmark on her birth cert, our marriage cert, and her I94 copy as she answered. Then he asked each one of us what was the other's birthday (which I made a joke saying I hope i had that right or i'd be in worse trouble with her than with CIS). Then he updated the income part of the file. He got (2) months of pay stubs from me, then our 2007 joint tax return and W2's (which we didn't submit because we filed in Feb). He was going to ask if i was still employed at the same company but noticed the last pay stub was dated the date of the interview so he made a check mark on that and moved on.

He then started on the "joint" stuff. He copied both of our drivers licenses (same address) He asked for a copy of our lease, and bank statement with both of our names on it. He asked if we had a family cell phone plan and we gave him a copy of that statement. We also gave him a current AMEX statement and showed him our mastercards, which he took to the back and copied because they had exactly the same card number. He asked if we had any auto's owned jointly and I said no but we were both on the same auto insurance policy so he took a copy of that. I gave him my work benefits info showing her covered under my health plan and beneficiary on life insurance plan. He then asked about out wedding and flipped through our wedding photo album, and flipped through another photo album which had pics of us with each other's families.

The only extra thing was that he said we had to come to interview because her fingerprints were "non-classified" which means twice rejected. He was going to make us submit a local police certificate but we already brought one (just in case) so he took that. He made a note on the immunization forms because there was no vericella vaccine listed, then flipped to the medical records from the embassy and checked off where she had chicken pox at age 3 or 4 and the doctor over there said "not required". That was pretty much it. I got the impression that he was getting the file up to date but not really that he was looking for anything in particular.
