Looking at our timelines, I'm thinking our files have been administered by the same person, either too lazy or over his/her head buried in application files.

No updates on the online system means nothing these days. I got my AP and my EAD, with no updates in the system, no notification emails (yes, I am registered, and selected to receive updates by email), and the last date they worked on my file was January 30, for I485 and I765, immediately after biometrics. The last date I had a touch on the AP and the I130 was December 18, 2008.

I don't mind if they don't update the system, and would really appreciate a "surprise" letter in the mail, with a date for the interview. Anybody at USCIS reads this wish? :( :( :(

Hey everyone,

I've been out of the loop for a little while. I went back to Canada for a month after I got my AP so I could visit family and plan our religious wedding.

Arrived back in the US today. Using the AP in Toronto was super easy and I'm glad it was because I was so worried about missing my flight!

We have an appointment with our lawyer tomorrow and my green card interview early Friday morning!

Hope everyone's doing well :)

ROC Journey:

01/19/11 I-751 & ROC package sent via USPS Priority

01/21/11 Package delivered to California Service Center

01/25/11 Check cashed

03/07/11 Biometrics

04/14/11 Approval Notice Date

04/18/11 Approval Notice Received

Yep - add me too I guess. Nothing since EAD late January. Baltimore Field office must be backed up as well. (Or MSC with forwarding it over there)

I called uscis to make sure letter was not lost in the mail - they said they have no updates since the day it was filed (just like on the web). I know sometimes the fbi background check takes a looong time, perhaps thats it.
