AOS delay?

I just need to check and see if anyone is experiencing any delays in their AOS (485). We sent our forms on Oct 15th. It was not received until Oct 22nd (accdg to the USPS certified mail tracking number). To date we have not heard anything - no NOA, no check cashed, no nothing, nada, zip, zilch.....????

same problem here. I will give them a few weeks to see what happens. They have already received my paperwork, but i have not received a response. My check has not been cashed, but i figure they receive a lot of aos etc everyday. what is normal time to wait until they at least cash your check?

Sorry to hear. It sounds like they've received it from your USPS tracking. Hopefully they are not going to give an RFE or rejection. My wife's AOS was received and then rejected four weeks after we sent it.

Sorry to hear. It sounds like they've received it from your USPS tracking. Hopefully they are not going to give an RFE or rejection. My wife's AOS was received and then rejected four weeks after we sent it.

well i hope not, we double and triple checked all our forms before we sent it to make sure all the info on it is correct

Its not unusual for it to take a few weeks for them to cash the checks. It took them 3 weeks to cash mine, even after I received the NOA's for all of them.

Don't worry it will come. Patience is the name of the game with USCIS. : )

Too early, give it a month at least. Steph is right, patience is key if you want to keep your sanity.

cool! thanks so much for the responses and reassurances. I SHOULD be used to this waiting by now after all the waiting we had to go through with my K1 but still, it doesnt get any easier does it although its so much better now since we ARE together forever !!!

well lo and behold, I go the NOA today in the mail. check still has not been cashed so will just wait for the biometrics letter, THANKS everybody for keeping me sane LOL! take care to all and God bless and guide us all and protect us!

Plan to give it more time, maybe another ten days.
