The USCIS says that the I-129f Visa usually takes about 90 days to be processed.

The VJ estimate date for our petition to be adjudicated was about ten days later then

the actual date that it was approved, but they can only go by the numbers that people

place in their timelines and some choose not to do so. In our case it took 82 days

from NOA1 to NOA2. In our timeline, VJ says our case took 91 days to be approved,

but their counting of the days begins on the day the petition was sent to the

service center and not when we received our NOA1.

Hope that helps. Good luck on your journey!

Barry....time between NOA1 & NOA2 is going to be longer then usual because of the IMBRA so trying to figure out an expected approval (NOA2) date at present is fruitless.

Himaya Ko,

The USCIS processing time estimates are pure fantasy.

A correct processing time calculation would be from the Receipt Date on the Receipt Notice to the Approval Date on the Approval Notice.

- Including the days when the petition was in the mail to the USCIS should not count, as the USCIS did not yet have the petition in their hands to process.

- Not including the days between the time they received the petition until the time you received the Receipt Notice should count, because the USCIS did have the petition in their hands during that time.

Today marks 119 days waiting for NOA2 from TSC/CSC. Unless something miraculous happens, it looks like we're going to exceed the 120 days as well. Oh, how I love CSC....

Mine took 69 days with no RFE's, My NOA-1 date was March 3, and NOA-2 was May 8. This is through the CSC. But I was lucky and just slipped under the IMBRA b.s., so it probably will take a little longer than it used to. Hmm, hopefully not, but when has the government ever changed the way they did something and actually made it faster and more efficient?
