:clock: Until Steve's interview in Montreal.

He's in one of those last minute panic make sure he's got everything together he needs states. His father is going to Montreal with him (not to the interview just on the trip). They will be leaving sometime tomorrow so he can be well rested the next morning for the interview.

I'm in a mental panic of sorts. I'm so worried something will be forgotten or misplaced, I'm such a control freak and I don't have any control at all on this leg of the journey. Additionally my daughter has been sick and it seems like I'm constantly busy or away from home taking her to Dr appts and such. -_-

I think once we get through this and his visa is in hand, I'll probably just float up off the face of the earth with that weight suddenly removed :)

Oh I will let you know. Get this, when he finds out I'll be at work so he'll have to call me there. Then if he we receive the blessing of the great and powerful consulate, he'll be issued the visa the next day...probably while I'm taking my daughter in for an ultra sound, unless my x takes her...in that case I'll again be at work.

I WANNA GO WITH HIM!!! :)

I completely relate to what you're both going through. By the time I'd arrived at the Consulate and was sitting in the WAITing room I was so worked up that I thought I'd either faint or throw up. But they were so wonderfully nice and professional. Can you imagine if they weren't?.... they'd have been carting me off to the hospital, I'm sure. Luckily, my fiance came with me. Which came in really handy when the interviewer commented that the separation must be hard on us and I started welling up. My fiance took over from there, thank goodness. Good luck to you and all the best!

Oh god if they were meanieheads about it gads yikes it would be horrible. I can imagine Steve will find himself welling up a bit here and there during it. He knows I've been going through a tough time lately here at home and he's felt so bad that he can't be here to help, and isn't here to comfort Alyx while she's been sick.

At this point tonight I think I'm about ready to eliminate one of those two sleeps and head off to bed. We've been counting sleeps instead of days because days can seem to take forever at times, but sleep time always seeems to be set to warp speed, and over oh so quickly :)

I made it through all the sleeps, not long to go now, he's awake and online for a few seconds at a time before dropping off :) OH GOD I'm nervous and excited and how on earth am i gonna work today yikes, I barely slept last night but I did get some sleep.

Michelle, yea it was my daughter I was talking about yesterday, it's not so much having problems again, she's been sick since I originally posted *sigh* It's like it's gone from one thing to another to another. First the MRI to check for possible TIA (instead it was a ruptured disk in her neck) then the allergic reaction to the contrast dye, then the reaction to the prednisone, they've decided all that took a toll on her immune system and for awhile she had some non-descript virus and IBS, but has been having continual upper abdominal pain since, had her in the ER over that saturday because it became severe and intense, some meds were changed, she's still in pain and feels sick and is having an ultrasound done on friday of her upper abdomin checking for gallstones etc.

Hope they can figure out exactly what is causing her all these problems soon, nothing is showing up on blood work but it's very obvious something is wrong.

Thank you for asking, I must admit life has been on great bundle of stress lately

Well I'm getting ready to leave for work so I'll post results when I get home. I so wish I didn't have to go in today, he's already on his way over to the consulate and most likely will know the outcome before I even make it all the way into work.

I'm so knotted up, just a complete bundle of nerves, if I hadn't missed so much time at work lately taking care of my daughter I would just stay home today.

Wish us luck!
