Can we deport racist a-holes, too? This country would be better off without them two groups of people. (I'm being awfully nice by calling them "people")

Nooooo, we'd be out of controversy in this forum...oh...they get internet in other countries. Pull the plug, bring the vans and sayonara then!

It's not necessarily being hypocritical but more of the pressure the US has been putting on them to stop illegal immigration.

Believe it or not,Mexico has strict immigration laws.

So does the USA, but no balls to enforce them.

C'mon, let's be logical instead of emotional - Have you heard of the ICE raids?

However, we have to enforce the law, by following the law; in other words, we cannot - and SHOULD not arrest or detain people just because they look "illegal" or because they have a "funny" accent.

So why all the whining from LaRaza, MALDEF, etc. when ICE does an audit on employment records and finds 90% of the workers are illegal aliens that have used identity theft, fraud, and lies to obtain jobs they are not authorized to have while illegally present in the USA? Then they raid the place, detain, and deport the illegals. What the hell does that have to do with "looks" and "accents"? It has to do with illegal aliens that use fraud to obtain jobs they are not authorized to have and ICE enforcing employment laws on behalf of the American people.

Mexico doesn't tolerate illegal immigration and unauthorized work by foreigners...why should the USA?

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Cool ... the US should adopt Mexico's immigration enforcement policy and procedures ... complete from capture to deportation ...

After all ...what Mexico does to illegals ... should apply equally to Mexican illegals caught in the US ...

For once, I agree with you.But if we did that, we would be called racists you know that.

sorpresa sorpresa...

For them not to be hypocrites, based on the current flow of reality, the Mexicans apparently would have to give the Cubans roadmaps, provisions, and diplomatic help to reach the US illegally.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Oyeme chiquitica... cómo es eso que nos dicen morenicos?? ¡Cosa más grande en la vida no hay caballero!

(Some Cubans are known for saying they're not exactly the shade of brown they are.)

Or maybe its that they aren't as pro-illegal as you say, peejay.

Besides, Cubans should already know that as long as they step on dry land here in the States, then they're generally OK as far as immigration is concerned.

Cuban's don't send billions in remittances back to Mexico either, do they? They end up taking US jobs that rightfully belong to Mexican illegal aliens too. They don't want foreigners cutting in on their racket.

Get real...they are pro-illegal as long as it is Mexican illegal.

They send what they can. There is a little Cold War thing called the embargo that you're missing in your amazing analysis.

Take a trip to Miami, perhaps you'll be changing your tune to hate Cubans as well.

I'm sure it also pisses them off that unlike Mexicans, Cubans only have to step on U.S. soil

and request political asylum to become legal immigrants.

Well, them say that all immigration laws should be applicable and enforced equally. Even with a Cold War that is still alive for some.

I know, especially those who escaped before Fidel took over !
