Sorry, shouldn't have said "know" Lynne..but it's very likely Terri..my guess anyway. :) M.

PS..a she left, highly annoyed with how she had been "treated" here and joined another board recently.

I like VJ - of all the places I looked at prior to my visajourney its seemed the most friendly - and helpful. This doesn't mean other boards weren't helpful - most were, some more than others but all try hard to help people - but I liked this place cos I got really fast responses and the layout, and ease of finding FAQ and forms etc was very simple to navigate.

Also it seemed like a 'family' - a group of people who got on most of the time and had fun and provided support as WELL as info.

VJers don't need to bash any other boards cos that reflects on the SITE, rather than the users anyways; and people here aren't that way inclined IMO.

Don't bash BE. True, it has a different vibe from VJ, but no two websites are alike, and there are many kind and helpful people on BE, just as there are here. Indeed, I've dug up some pretty arcane and interesting info on BE that I couldn't find here. Plus, BE has Mr. Folinsky, and he's always good for being on top of immigration law and reading the fine print.

Abby (U.S.) and Ewen (Scotland): We laughed. We cried. Our witness didn't speak English. Happily married (finally), 27 December 2006.

Latest news: Green card received 16 April 2007. USCIS-free until 3 January 2009! Eligible to naturalize 3 April 2010.

People like to jump on the "bashing bandwagon" too often. Sometimes when they don't know much about what they're even bashing! (not saying that about everyone in this thread, to clarify! But yes about a few I'd say it)
