Hello everyone! I was reading a lot of posts here on different topics and issues accordingly K1/K3 processing......decided to ask your opinion about my situation.... My Fiance sent the full package with documents for K1 visa on September 8 th......after that he got a notice from the VSC that the package is received.......after that .......no more news from them

I noticed that the most of people are getting their NOA1 in first 2 weeks.......we didnt get ours even after almost 6

SHOULD WE WORRY???? IS THIS OK TO WAIT FOR SO LONG THE FIRST NOA??????????

Please tell me what you think????????

Is anyone else having this issue with VSC?

Thank you!

If the notice that he received regarding the package came from VSC (and not the USPS), then that is the NOA1

I had the same situation. K3 (I-129F) packet received by VSC on September 12 and still no NOA1. The I-129F for K3 does not require a processing fee and so I did not even have a cashed check. I called the customer service number and explained my situation to them. They were very helpful. They asked for my name, address, date of birth, country of birth (I am the petitioner) as well as my wife's name and gave me my case number. I have given up on receiving the NOA1 but I can check my case status with the case number.

It's perfectly normal after 6 weeks. The VSC and the CSC used to dish them out after 2 weeks.. I remember we got ours 6 weeks later actually. I wouldn't worry. You should expect your NOA2 within the next 3 months? I don't know the current processing times.. though if you register your case number online with www.uscis.gov you can follow your status from there. The very best of luck for a speedy approval and for the rest of you who are waiting for their NOA2s!!!

Same here. I saw that they cashed my check and got my receipt number from the cancelled check but after 5 weeks of waiting and not receiving an NOA1 I called them. They thought it was odd I hadn't received it and sent me another one. Good thing I called because I had gotten the wrong receipt # off of the cashed check and had been looking at the wrong petition online for more than a month! So then 2 months later I received the NOA1, the day before I got my approval notice via e-mail from CRIS. <_<
