Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Ha, thought my son, Jon, was pretty good at his university radio station, got quite an audience and the record companies got a hold of his name and sent him literally thousands of CD's for him to advertise. All were sent to my home address, listened to some, not one of my musical taste. But Jon went on to other things.

Then there is my step son, Juan, more enthusiastic, has a degree in architectural engineering, is licensed, but can't find a job. Been helping him buy equipment, and he got his first international gig, all expenses paid, but I think he will only get a buck or two. Has to start someplace.

Perhaps a bit biased, but these are my favorite DJ's, even if it means listening to music, I can't stand, LOL.

Paul Van Dyk

I saw Van Dyk at "Dune" (Los Angeles event) in '99. He was incredible! So far, the best Trance set I've ever seen/heard.

Daaaaaamn. Way to bring up the old school parties! I was at Dune also.:thumbs:

Favorite DJs? Ahhh I love Drum and Bass, House, Trance, Techno, etc....! I don't think I could pick one or two but here are some I always loved back in the day:

Bailey. John B. Ink. Goldie. Ltj bukem. Marky. Patife. Tech Itch. Photek, Mampi swift. Loxy. Hype. Adam f. Andy c. Bad company. ..all the hard hitters!

MAW/Louie Vega, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Shadow, Chemical Bros, Steve Lawler, Miguel Migs, BT, PVD, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Sasha, Deep Dish, Photek, I used to love Sander Kleinenberg but I haven't heard anything in a while, Thievery Corporation,

the set I heard from Fat Boy Slim at Salvador, Brazil carnival in '06 was waaaaay out of hand.

Hmm I know I'm forgetting some! Satoshi Tommie, Eric Morillo, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Burren are all good too!

Keeper sets that follow me everywhere I go:

Tiesto Live at Energy 2000 (not much from Tiesto impresses me anymore...too much of a God Complex)

Paul Oakenfold, Essential Mix, Live from the Rojam

Paul Oakenfold, from 1993, Dont remember where or what party.

Andy C Essential Mix from May 2005

I was really into trance for a LONG time, and was particularly a fan of Above and Beyond. More recently, theres been a HUGE house revival in Toronto, and we have a lot of good home growns. Mark Oliver has a sound that can appeal to soo many of the EDM genres, and his transitions while playing are usually out of this world...Ive finished many a nights back in the day at around 8am at the guvernment. Another local, more house tho, Nathan Barato and Sydney Blu...over the past year, have done wonders for the scene in TO... Unfortunately, I wasnt as able to go out as much as I used to, but if I were, it would be to see them

Other nominees in my list include Steve Porter, Sander van Doorn, James Zabiela, G&D, Orkidea (saw this guy ONE time in toronto, an UNFORGETTABLE set....if I could again, I would for sure) ShyFX, Agnelli & Nelson....
