Guess we'd all better start looking for good, sturdy cardboard boxes to live in. I've heard that Frigidaire refrigerator boxes are the best....

Why did I think you already owned your house outright?

I have a tent, I think I like that better than a box :D

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I do.

But.... property taxes, baby.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

But why spend the effort struggling with tent poles or fighting alcohol soaked bums with broken bottles over the pick of the best boxes - when there are perfectly good bus shelters and doorways out there.

So it's down to where it was, what, 5 years ago?

I don't think the sky is necessarily falling.

VS the growth from 5 years ago, yes it is. :(

But I wouldn't say 'crash' just yet. Hopefully won't have to since quite a few of us don't like to lose money we've invested.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

A lot of that was stupid growth from a bubble economy.

Obviously there will be pain - possibly long term pain. But I don't think life as we know it is going to end unless you rely on credit to get by, which unfortunately many do.

Yep. Although I think more of the pain now is short term. Once things turn around, then better for all involved. This should be a time for paying down debts... without pushing the credit bubble any further out. There's already enough of that in tow from current debt levels at the deficit stage from uncle Sam that is nearly guaranteeing higher taxes and costs for the mid-term, possibly long-term.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
