Just opened the mailbox awhile ago and got our AOS Interview Schedule for January 27, 2009.

I have just checked my case status online and it says:

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On December 20, 2008, we ordered production of your new card.

i hope it helps my situation. and it is terrible news to hear before Christmas. I pray he finds a job soon, or that my EAD process speeds up a little.

my 75th day would be in two weeks. so if i cant expedite, i can hopefully expedite by then if i havent heard anything yet. i havent even gotten a touch after my biometrics, i find it weird. because a lot of people get a touch after their biometrics. and i havent gotten one since a week before my appt.

Hi Terri how are you? I am so sorry to hear about your husband being laid off from his job, it is such terrible news to get right before Christmas. The US enconomy is terrible. Yes I have heard of expediting a case before. I know you would have to call the USCIS customer service number and then you would explain your situation as you did here and usually they expedite a case, for people who havent received nor heard any word from USCIS about their EAD and AP within or after 90 days, but USCIS also says if you dont hear anything in 75 days you can expedite it, just a bunch of confusing rules sometimes. In your situation, I think you have a very good shot at expediting your case because in your situation it would be financial as your US spouse got laid off from his job and you need your EAD to make ends meet and contribute to your household. I hope you do get your case expedited and good luck. Merry Christmas to you.

God is just so good.....I finally got a letter from the Immigration for my Interview Appoinment which will be on January 27, 2009 at 3:00PM. But I still have not heard anything about my EAD. I checked online but still it's pending.

Well, I have to prepare everything now for the interview.

Hey Rosie, I just looked at the spreadsheet and saw that you got the dates wrong between my AP and my EAD. It doesn't matter too much but if you want to put everything perfectly, my AP was received the 12/17 and my EAD 12/22.

i received the 2 copies of AP on Saturday.

Congrads Alxmrt on getting your AP in the mail. Merry Christmas to you. Can you share your interview experience with us in here please.

Thank you and a Merry Christmas to you also. Although i received the "interview cancelled" letter i will be attending my original date as i have read too many horror stories about the people that dont show up and get denied. I will be sharing all with you on here.

10/21/08 (Day 0) - Application Sent (I-130, I-485/I-864/I-693, I-765)

10/22/08 (Day 1) - Received Date (USPS over night)

10/29/08 (Day 8) - Check Cashed

10/30/08 (Day 9) – Received NOA (I130-I485-I765) Dated 10/31/08

10/31/08 (Day 9) - I130, I765, ONLINE BUT I485

11/02/08 (Day 12)- Received Biometrics appointment scheduled 11/15/08

11/07/08 (Day 17)- Biometrics Done Early walking in Norridge,Illinois

11/17/08 (Day 27)- Request for Evidence letter for I485 (they were asking for I94 Arrival record) It took 5 days to arrive online letter was sent 11/12/08

11/18/08 (Day 28)- Request Evidence is I94 sent along with I20,( I was a student), NON immigrant visa page on the passport, also, approval letter of F1 status, because i changed my status after i came to USA.
