Yes, beautiful how some of the advice is directed towards how and where to find a suitable replacement for the 'scamming' fiancee. (Though we know not the other side of the story.) All the while not really answering the OP's question. How do I cancel my approved K-1?

It is exactly what I was thinking. And I don't see what is the point with internet (BTW Al Gore is a good politician but sorry he has no link with the creation of the internet...). I don't want to be mean, and I don't want to throw rocks on people but it is like "you know I'm american and alone, I would like a beautiful girl, let's go to philippines and choose a girl who wants the greencard". I'm so sorry cuz' I know that for some people it is not true but com'on what is the deal with Philippines ?

I was also wondering the same! If you look at the statistics for people who became LPR in 2007, there are more than double the number of new LPR from Mexico than Philipines (148,640 vs 72,596), however I have seen more posts from people from Philipines here...

I dont think Mindanao area has nice filipinas. Probably you need to live more years to discover that we a lot of great people.

I can tell you for a fact that Davao have nice filipinas. I married one and she is the best. That is not the only place to meet nice filipinas, but it is a great place to start.

and i am still not sure she really has an annullment since they usually take 8 months to a year and are expensive, yet your lady got one in a month, unless she started it along time ago and just didnt tell you and was hoping it would be final by when you filed. And then of course it wasnt.

Get a lady from Luzon. Saves a LOT of hassle and money having to fly them and house them in Manila for the interview and medical!!~

Easier and cheaper for the guy also.

Sounds like to me you need to stay away from Manila area. Many scammers around the Manila.

Go down to Mindanao area, Davao is about 1.5 hour flight from Manila.

Get a girl from the province.

Once you meet and if you like her go get a CENOMAR as mentioned above, Which is a great suggestion.
