CASE COMPLETE!!!

I just called the NVC operator to speak with her and she stated that the CASE WAS COMPLETED TODAY. Then I checked the AVR and it still says that we have received your checklist reponse and blah blah blah. I spoke with NVC and asked her about the interview date and she said I would have to wait till the 2nd week of October.

Congrats. I told you that you will be fine. Now just relax and call them the second week of October (next week). Remember to get all documents ready for the interview before hand. I have also added your info on the spreadsheet in keeping track. Good luck.

Please don't worry about that slow AVR change...I haven't checked this week, but last week our case still said the same thing about having received the checklist wait 6-8 weeks for a response from NVC--and look our case was completed weeks ago and we have an interview date. If ever there's a concern, ALWAYS speak to an NVC rep. (And then just to double-check I'd call back and ask again)

Yay! Congrats to you. I called in today and I got the same information. 2nd week of October is when they will have me scheduled and most likely it will be in November depending on case loads at the Embassy. Hurray!
