Proof of relationship in electronic format?

Has anyone ever brought to an interview or submitted evidence of ongoing relationship in electronic form such a cd? I ask because one of the main forms of communication between my fiance and I is msn messenger. We already have hundreds of pages of IM logs. I imagine by the time he goes for his interview sometime next year, we'll have truckloads of pages if we printed it all out. It would seem that a CD would be so much more "managable". Any thoughts?

its my understanding from whats been said on here they wont accept it. better to just print out a few selections, maybe a few from each month and you don't have print out the entire chat just sections or the overview of chat history. so they can see you chatted this day and that day ect

Good Idea to have cd backups but also best to do as Hannah+Vito said!

Plus CDs can't handle 2 hole punches and ACCO clips that well!

Printing out a sampling doesnt prove a damn thing really. How does printing out a few days of chat here and there prove anything? Anyone *not* in a real relationship can fake a few chats here and there. You cant fake months and months of logs totaling 1000s of pages which is what we have. I guess our best course of action is to print files monthly and keep in binders just in case they ask for it.

Print the logs too. That will add meaning to the examples. It works. They don't have time to read a few hundred pages of your chats and they won't load a CD to check them out.

actually i'm sure if someone really wanted to fake something that badly they prob could do quite a lot more that you think. from asking about photos for the interview. i get the impression that the uk based embassy is not too hard based on the fact its low fraud rate and that they dont look at too much and i have chatted night on here with my fiance for over a year, on both cam and chat, the calls wont have context so they will have to accept the fact it will just be date and time. and as for chat, i dont think i want them reading all of our personal messages so they will be getting samples. i can't imagine an officer spending an hours or two just reading all our chats for the last year and bit.

Ok, but I'm not suggesting printing all the chats, just the logs and a few examples, maybe two or three a month and even those need not be complete.

agreed... just take a screen shot of your logs and provide a couple chats over an extended period of time.

They do not take electronic media.

If you were going through a different consulate i'd recommend printing them all out for the Interview but you should be good with just the logs from all of your chats.

Electronic media that is loaded into certain secured computers has to be certified to be free of malware/virus by 2 trained and certified people for the system involved. So no electronic media

They won't want to read 1000,0000 pages of your chats. Just print one from each month/week.

They won't look at electronic due to virus.

I also thought about CDs but who wants to deal with that?

We sent/took to the interview pictures - but like someone said, just a few.
