Back from Tampa, FL ...

What a ride! 2,215 miles put on that rental in 5 days. :whistle:

We had a great time going to Tampa, spending time with Nani's family down in Atlanta on the way down and up, seeing the beach (no sunset, though :( ) and the city of Tampa. We both like it a lot. I liked the place where I want to work - has the looks of a resort rather than an office building. It's a gorgeous campus. The folks there are really nice - from what I can tell, we had a very good comfort level both ways from the very beginning. I spent more than half the day Monday at the facility and truly enjoyed every minute of it. And the potential employer seems to like me as well. I sent some brief follow-up notes on Tuesday morning and received responses back pretty quickly that indicated that I should expect to hear from the HR dept either at the end of this week or early next week. It'll be a challenging and demanding job but I am so ready to get back into the game... :yes:

Oh, and I had a message from that company in Chicago waiting for me as well when we came back today. They'd like me to call them back as soon as I ave a chance. :D

April 24, 2007 : Welcome Notice Rvcd. Yeeehaaa!!!!
June 1, 2007: GC arrived! Yippy! USCIS Free for 2 years!
2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
