Hi Pappu1980,

When did you learn about your interview date? So they are now starting to schedule for January interviews? Good luck on your interview!

I called NVC and spoke to representative few days after my case was completed. Try calling NVC after 10:00 PM, it should be quick. Also keep in mind that Interview date also depends on consulate.

Hey guys!

I have a question! We have our interview on December 22 and my wife has her medical exam this Thursday, however she has not received a letter from the consulate with the interview date on it as of yet. She has, however, received the letter from NVC with the interview date, would this be sufficient to use?

Also, I have heard that having too much evidence at the day of the interview could looked at negatively. I always though that the more evidence one brings the better. Oh well, I feel stuck between trying to decide how much is too much then being afraid that I dont have enough... This is crazy.

Thanks guys.

She will have to call the medical place to find out. I heard that the NVC was good enough, but you need the embassy letter for the interview for sure.

I would take as much evidence as possible, if they want it they will ask for it. It depends on the case how much they want to see. You would rather have it and not need it and need it and not have it.

Crismar,

We received the letter from NVC and did not receive any additional letters directly from the embassy. The NVC letter was sufficient to take for the medical exam (take 3 pictures! I didn't know pictures were necessary for the medical exam but the female Doctor, Dr. Nari I think, asked for pictures). I don't know that we are supposed to get a letter from the embassy like you are asking about. I have read reviews about the interview day and they mention the interview letter which I take to mean the NVC visa interview document.

VJ member lars-n-yenia just went through their interview at the Lima embassy so you might want to message him and ask him if they got a letter directly from the embassy. I would aks him but I have already bothered him a few times and don't want to be a pest. Or you can email the embassy about your question. Let me know what you find out!

As far as evidence, I am taking lots of it but I am not showing it to them unless they ask.

My husband got cleared on his PCC from the courts woohooo!

Now another 10 buisness days to get the PCC, they said he has to get a new one with the cleared record.

Well i guess no January Interview for us.

Anything one think that once i send in his PCC, if i attach a Letter from My doctor stating my due date and asking for the soonest Interview possible; this will help?

I think i'm going to give it a shot once i get his PCC in hand.

congrats. to everyone with the interview dates in hand!

Sorry about my freakout on Thanksgiving, it's been a rough time for me. I was hoping to have everything in to NVC by now but had to deal with medical issues - am having cataract surgery in 1 week (12/16). I just sent in the completed I-864EZ with employment letter, 2007 1040EZ copy, 2007 W-2, 6 months of pay stubs. I do have 2005 and 2006 1040EZ copies but can't locate the W-2s so didn't include them. Just waiting for G to send me his documents and signed DS-230. Hope to have everything finished and into NVC by Christmas so I guess we are looking at a February interview(barring RFE), right?
