Thanks guys.

It's frustrating that all the people who applied after us have gotten theirs - and I do mean all. Was wondering if you guys had had the same frustrations. Yesterday, yes Sunday, I was made a job offer by one of the biggest firms in the USA for a job in my field I applied for back when I had my 90 day working visa and now I gotta go talk to them and say that my EAD hasn't arrived - so frustrating.

I think it's a matter of which employee goes in the bathroom storage area and picks up a file or two.

and he or she accidentally flushes your file down the toilet...

then the USCIS will have a serious plumbing issue... i dont think those files are degradable in the pipes

I received NOA for interview today in the mail. It is going to be on February 18, 2009. Does anyone know usually how long on average it takes to receive green card after interview?

Hi guys!

I went to my infopass appointment today.

Weather was bad , I kept checking internet to see if they were closed.

Since there was no news there I decided to go, took twice as long to drive there.

When I got into the building, to go through security, the first thing they told me is that they are closing down the whole building in 10 min. because of the weather. I feared my whole trip was in vain

But at least they let me come in, to see if i could reschedule my appointment.

I came into the USCIS office and waited.

Finally a guy came, he gave me two min, since they were about to close down the building.

All he said was he had looked at my case that morning, and since I had a RFE, my case got put on hold until they received my RFE, I then had to count 90 days from the day they received my RFE, and now I am only on day 69, so I have to wait for 21 more days............that is just lovely

So no christmas present for me, have to wait until next year

Guess we just have to hand in there a while longer.........

I know that lots of us read the September forum daily but don't post a lot, like me, but I just

wanted to share this with all the family of September filers.

My husband got his California drivers license today! It was his second try and the examiner

was nicer this time. We went to a smaller town and maybe it makes a difference sometimes?

Anyway, they said that he should have his card in 2 weeks! Yippee!

That was such a nice Christmas present, 4 days after but right before the New Year! That has just

got to be a good omen.

The license is good for a year, like the EAD.

Then, I guess you renew the drivers license once the end of the year arrives?

Do you have to renew your EAD when it expires after you get your conditional green card? Or does the

green card take over for the EAD?

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!!

I also hope that everyone else that is waiting doesn't have to wait too much longer.

It must be a kind of yucky feeling, which I really know from the K-1 process, when others are

getting stuff and you are not. It's like you want to be happy for others but you are mad and

frustrated too.

Anyway.........I'll keep praying for everyone..........still have a bit of a wait. Can't wait to see who gets

I think you can look on the timelines on here and it'll give you an idea.

Maybe 2 weeks? Here is what is says on the timeline for the last year.

Over the last 360 days,

Avg. Days

btw Decision Date

and Receiving Green Card was 12.

That means we could have ours in February, just in time for Valentine's Day!!! Yippee!!!
