UGH. already problems. I called NVC (i know it's a little early) but the woman i spoke with at the NVC said that we should wait 90 days for them to receive the information from immigration?! What the h e l l?!?! 90 days? I have never read that on this site before! I asked...even for a K1 visa? and she said yes. Please tell me this isn't true?

I think not true - wait a day and call again.

90 Days is probably the official time it could take. You were approved on the 7th, I would wait til the end of the week and check back. Best to just start getting all your paperwork in order for Packet 3.

In our case we did not have any touches since the NOA1. I believe they probably started working on our Petition late in the day of January 8 and finished Friday January 9. We received our approval Friday night at 7H15pm (Quebec Time). I was really happy because Paul-Richard was here since December 24 and was leaving today. My wish was that we could just see a change in date before he goes back to California.

we are pretty sure you will see some movements on your file before the end of the week. We will send a lot of energy.

How is everyone doing, as i've been reading this thread I seen a few people getting their NOA2 during last month and this month, I'm also a Sept filer, and had only one touch up to this point, the difference is that I filed at VSC, but is really taking longer than usual, normally I'm at the Colombian thread, but just wanted to find another place where I cancomunicate with others, this waiting is very gruesome, and it reallytakes a token on your life, but is well worth it , at the end we all will be with our love ones, I hope we all start getting our NOA2 soon,

Thanks for the chance to express myself and good luck and blessings to everyone

I have not been on here for a while, but I have been reading the post.

Congrats to everyone who has been approved. I am hoping we will be able to join that club soon.

I am still in America. Since September approvals started to happen even before my vacation here was over I decided to extend my vacation rather than go back to work in Korea and then have to be there for 6 months before I could come join my fiance (and honestly I really really dont want to leave him at all)

I started collecting information for police reports and stuff. Having travelled all over the world and lived in 4 countries is great in general but horrible for all the information I need. Trying to find the adress of where I lived in England more than 10 years ago is not at all easy (and then they want a phone number ... really? My phone number 10 years ago is going to mean anything today?)

Good luck to everyone for the next step.

My one question is about the NOA 1 and 2- do I need originals or can I send copies?

Do not, I repeat DO NOT send the originals to your SO because if they got lost, it is about $400 to replace. Just send a copy and I think you only need to send a copy of the NOA2 (that applies there was an NOA1) but use your best judgement.

That's not true. It will only be a few days up to about two weeks to get there. They send them by the pallet load and ship a bunch at once. I'm gonna call them early next week to check mine.

I didn't get a touch, just an approval and speaking of touches, I got another one today! I wonder if they are getting it ready to ship to NVC?

Benika - welcome back to the board. Glad you re doing well.

karri & dilbert - I think you might get an approval this week (as long as your not at VSC), but even if you are, it shouldnt be long now.

Everyone else - I dont think yours will be long either. Hang in there. TRUST ME, it could be much worse.

Hi! Back from the frozen land of the far East of Russia. I was hoping for a lower number, but I will take what I can get at this point. I was following Aldo and Amy and I have flown past their number, the number when they got their NOA2. I am hoping to get my NOA2 vey soon, as I am going crazy waiting for this machine to lurch forward. I have gotten no touches or anything since the NOA1. It was nice visiting my Tanushka, but now I want the NOA2 much faster than before. I could not imagine going a year without seeing her. I have been reading the posts and have been getting very excited at the lowering numbers!!!! I hope everyone hangs in there and congrats to the lucky ones who have recieved their NOA2s.
