who else is in the same boat PENDING at VSC K3 ONLY from 07 if there is any to April 2008??

I know there is many spreadsheets going on I just want to gather with the ones not approved yet and maybe get an idea who will be the first in line when VSC decides to start working with the applications left out that were not transferred.

once again calling only 2007 and Jan-April 2008 pending petitions.

sracastillo - from the trend i have seen, applicants with NOA1 for I-130 of March 3, 2008 are being transferred to CSC. so if they transfer the next bunch, i am pretty sure ull b one of them...either way ur file is next to get attention (which is a good thing)...u shud hear a good news very soon...good luck!

Sracastillo, are you a K3 or CR1? I cant see any K3 who are transfered to CSC, or? I think its only apllications I130. I had have 3 touches in July and no RFE, and I am a april/may filler. Oh, sooo long time its take..

We " HAD " a K-3 application pending for over 3 months after my I 130 was approved ( for my wife )

I went to an info pass meeting and discovered that the K-3 was in fact administratively canceled back in May. They never notified me or anything, so we waisted 3 months waiting on something that wasnt going to happen. We fired our attorney, notified NVC of that, and we are proceeding with the CR1 app.

The guy at the info pass asked me why I waited so long. I could have hit him. Anyway, if you think your k 3 is a bit delayed, call someone and specifically ask if it has been cancelled by them. You are entitled to specific answers.

GOOD LUCK and I hope this helps someone,

Henry

sracastillo - my personal opinion: since u have waited this long, CR1 and K3 (if both i-130 and i-129 are approved at the same time) are only going to make a difference of about a month and a half for you if u do the NVC using loto's guide...so if i were in ur shoes (although i know waiting is a B****) i wud prefer CR-1 over K3...i hope all works out for you very soon and i am very sure ur file is next in line for some kind of action...

As a lot of you know, I am one of those K3 filers left hanging at VSC, but I think our approvals due any day now! :)VSC is really working hard moving the old ones out and it's very likely that they will start approval K3s any day now.

having said, I HAVE seen couple of K3 filers moved to CSC, but only their I-130 were moved...let's wait and watch...we are next

We are waiting too

4/21-rec'd NOA on 130

5/12-rec'd NOA on 129F

We were touched twice in June, but nothing since. My new theory? We are in backround checks...why else would there be a touch touch then nothing for two months?

I have a nice letter for my congressman on hand that also points out that some people are approved in weeks or a month while other "sit" AND, that (sorry if this offends some) finace's get faster approvals than people who are ALREADY MARRIED. ha!

Im mailing that letter if we havent heard anything by mid Sept

Anyway, I still feel optimistic guys, it really hasnt been all that long considering.

Good Luck to all of us!

Lisa

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
