4/14/08 -----> 10 yr green card in hand

Citizenship Timeline

8/20/08 -------> Mailed N-400 to TSC

8/21/08 -------> N-400 rec'd by TSC @ 10:42 am signed for by C Maxa

8/26/08 -------> Check cashed

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

***MY HUSBAND IS NOW A USC***

12/29/08 -----> Filed for US passport book and passport card for my husband

01/08/09 -----> Rec'd US passport book in mail today; still waiting for card and return of natz cert

My husband would like to go with me to the Oath Ceremony on September 2nd.

Does anybody know if that's alright or do they prefer just the applicant?

Anybody take their spouse (specifically to the Seattle office)?

Your husband better take you and bring a camera, telephoto zoom with a 500 mm lens, unless he's not afraid to walk up close, LOL. Then he should take you out to dinner, get you drunk and take advantage of you.

He can do that without it being the day of my oath ceremony!!!!! :blush: I'll do just about anything to get out of having to cook!!!!!

Does that mean... yes... he can accompany me to the oath ceremony????

I'm very glad he can accompany me to the oath ceremony.... after all, it's because of him that I'm even here in the U.S., and becoming a U.S. citizen in the first place!!!!

I was actually quite expecting to have to wait months for the oath ceremony letter, and was VERY surprised when right after he told me that he was going to recommend me for approval, he said.... "Now let's schedule your Oath Ceremony date"!!!!!!!!!!!

Seattle isn't as bad as I originally thought, I guess!!!!!
