No news on my case, still on AP. The information the guy at consulate gave me "name checks".. *sigh*

On a good note i'm keeping busy by planning my sister's babyshower. I have already sent out the invites and now working on the decorations

Whatznext that is great news some advancement on your case!! *fingers crossed* (F)

Married: 6/5/2009

I-130 Sent: 11/6/2009

NOA1:11/13/2009 (CSC)

NOA2:02/12/2010 (3 months from NOA1)

NVC received:02/23/2010

Received DS-3032/I-864 Bill:02/23/2010

received IV bill:03/30/2010

Interview date:JULY 2, 2010 (consul said my husband was approved):)

Extra steps: Turns out in Juarez they do not tell you the final result of interview on the spot, you have to wait to receive a DHL package that contains the verdict and passport hopefully. Even though my husband was "approved" during interview (per consul answer) he was placed in Administrative Review on JUly 6 according to consulate operator.

Placed on AR post interview:07/06/2010

Picked up Blue slip AR (they kept his passport):7/09/2010

Visa issued: 09/15/2010

I was in AP for 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days

Completed my journey in 10 months, 2 weeks and 2 days

Just take it one step at a time... The case is so old that most of the documents have to be renewed... it is almost like you are back to the pre interview satge again... as soon as you get those docs ready, they will schedule a new interview and god willing he will get pink this time without further issue... the fact that you have been there done that already, many of the issues that were present before, have been acknowledged by USCIS and by them reaffirming the case they have indicated they see no issues with the case... The only way that the consulate can reasonably deny the visa now is to find something that the USCIS was unaware of... USCIS should know everything given all that has been done with the case thusfar...

As long as the reasons they sent it back have been addressed it should be pretty streamlined... If the CO is a real tool, they may try to get him frustrated and see if they can get him to provide a contradictory statement... he needs to try to be as confident as possible and expect an azz of a CO... if he is prepared for a roug interview it will go much smoother... after all he has been through it will seem overwhelming that it is almost over... he can take a small photo of the two of you with him to the interview to hold in his hand and that can give him strength to get through it... it only takes a glance at the photo to remind him he can do it...

Well it appears I am joining this group but at the NVC level. I posted a comment on the "Stuck in AP @ NVC" however, from what I can see I'm the only one currently in AP on that tread :( , so I thought I would come hang here and hope to get some company and pray I don't get AP at the embassy as well.

I like to think that if I have AP early I won't have it at the embassy, but im not getting my hopes up.

So far we know of 4 people that were called by the consulate late last night as part of an investigation associated with our AP..

Me, My Ex, Thuy and her mother were all called and interrogated over the phone for 30 minutes except Thuy which lasted over an hour...

One way or another we should be out of AP by next week... god willing she will get the letter saying get a new medical and bring your passport...

It sucks that the consulate can call up relatives and outright lie to them in an attempt to trick them... when they called my MIL they lied about who they were and why they were calling... they stuck to the lie for the entire call... sounds like material misrepresentation on the part of the consulate to me..

Its crazy what they are able to do. Hopefully you will hear good news soon. On a good note...they are considering adding AP/Returned cases tracking to the timelines  Think this would really help all of us trying to keep track of what everyone is going through. Hope others hear some good news too.

Thanks...I have read thru this thread and I can't believe how long some people have been in AP. Its insane, what could possibly take that long to investigate and clear. My thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone on here. I hope there is an end in sight and everyone will be reunited with their loved ones soon.

Tracking AP can be so difficult since each consulate does things different... Our AP is very different from yours.. Just talked to DoS and they said to call back every day because should be finished soon...
