why is everyone on ronaldo about his diving.. Yes maybe he is faking. but Argentina is the bigest and most guilty of diving and acting. Italy is not far behind.

What rooney did is unforgivable. he stomp on the guy nuts and legs. and if he is that stuipd to lose his cool and cost the game for England and do it right in front of the Ref.. He deserves to get the boot..

And About the Italians I don't call what they do faking that's is almost and offence, for all that understand a little bit of Italian culture knows that Italians live their life on stage all the time, most of the Italian's life is spend in public, on show. Italians are masters at getting by, and at home and at abroad has always been famous for their ability to make the best of their situations and personally I don't see nothing negative on that, we're far behind of being boring or common... so that's is why bothers me so much when people bash on the Italians or call them cheaters. And they've gone so far in this World cup just for their beautiful and tactical football and the last game against Germany showed that.

I second that. With everyone diving if I'm the ref I'm not calling a foul unless I see blood or a bone sticking out of the skin. If the refs would stop calling a foul everytime someone goes down the players would stop the acting.

...that would make soccer less of a clean show and more agressive...that would kill one of the big reasons why soccer is so popular.Diving is not really cheatting,diving is show, ...it`s part of the soccer game..it`s the referee`s job to detect a fake dive,not the players` job not to dive
