Thats soo sweet. Atleast he gets the gravity of it all now.

Rachid didn't grasp the fact we were bringing home a precious life until I was in the OR. lol.

He followed the nurses everywhere they took the baby.. they would say "wait here" and he would keep

following them with the baby in the cart. lol.

A good question is how do you think Simo will react in the room?

Rachid actually left the OR to vomit from looking at my C-sect surgery.

Anyone ever seen a MENA man clean?

My husband is usually a bit of a slob--putting his dirty socks everywhere, leaving a big mess in the kitchen after cooking, etc. I know that his mom cleaned up after all 7 of her boys, and I am a bit guilty of doing it too, but I'm not all that fastidious.

Today, however, he is bent on ridding our house of dust in preparation for the baby: vacuuming everything, moving furniture and washing behind it, taking all the books out of the bookcase and cleaning them, washing all the baseboards, etc.

I've helped some, but he's doing stuff that I just don't have energy for...

If his mother could see him now!

Awwwwwww..........that is adorable that he is so excited. Enjoy it while you can. Men always go back to being men!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Anyone ever seen a MENA man clean?

My husband has no problem, actually prefers to clean his "gadgets" ... I have never seen anyone, what I call "caress clean" PCs, cameras, etc like he does  He hs special tools and products ... sitting there "caressing" and "smoothly" the thing to be spotless! He does good cleaning up after his DYI projects buuut when it comes to cleaning anything else in the home - I would not want him doing anything! He helps out if he sees I am really not able - but I better be dying! His intentions are good I must say ... he does offer ... and makes effort to little mess as possible. But my man isn't domestic really
