Well Said has his ticket and he will be in Portland at 11:20pm on the 24th of August :dance: His port or entry will be JFK and then to Portland. Im so excited and Im nervous for him he has never flown before and I worry about customs, I hope they are good and nice to him. Has anyone had problems at JFK?

I think NYC being so diverse they are more understanding! Make sure he has enough money to eat during transit. And have something to do during the layovers since many areas are resricted for MENA people with certain papers. ANd you take a long bath, get your nails done, get a nice dress ... whatever aaaaaaaand BREATHE! I hope your reunion is sweet and FAST!

As long as he has everything in order things should be smooth at JFK. They get so many of these K1/K3's. Just make sure he knows important information such as wedding date/address where he is going and doesn't open the brown envelope!! Someone's SO did that and caused a lot of panic. Not sure whatever happened with that. Just trying to cover the things I remember reading. Enjoy your reunion.

JFK was even big for me ha, truthfully i hate it, how long is the layover. Just tell him to ask if he needs help finding the next connection sometimes in different building etc its big and have money for phone or way to call if there long enough...hopefully he wont get caught in a position to have to stay all night like last time i was there....good luck

Orrrrrr... clean, clean, clean, bake a cake and make chocolate truffle eggs from scratch, don't finish cleaning and be late to the airport 30 minutes, your choice... :) Congrats on his coming!

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Wishing your reunion to be everything you dreamed it would be!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

My husband has gone through the POE at JFK three times and had no problem each time. I am sure someone there will be able to help direct him to his connection to Portland, he will be fine.

Wishing you both a Happy and Loving Reunion! (F)
