we met on a muslim matrimonial site talked on line over well over a year met for the first time about two years after talking by that time he had already asked for me from my parents.........filed k1 visa application a year ago and still waiting for noa2 lol he said we would have a long engagement we just didnt know how long it was really gonna be lol

We were introduced by a friend - no, Govi was not my guide LOL... Our actual first meeting place was at Buddha Park near Swayambhunath stupa - he and his father (who was with us on our first date, very traditional) were 2 hours late because of a chakka jam - just another day in KTM... We ended up eating at the Bakery Cafe in Thamel and then went walking around Pashupatinath. I had met him briefly the year before but really didn't have a chance to get to know him better until our first date.

I had just moved to Nepal to start work at an elementary school. I met Deepak my first day in Nepal. He owned the restaurant across the street from the hotel where I was staying in Kathmandu. We hit it off right away. He's a sweetie.

I cam in for work (barmaid in a small hotel in kent, not the greatest tourist destination and i still dont know why he deingned to vist there for vacation but i'm glad he did ) he was already in the bar with his dad and friend they were staying at the hotel. so intitally we comunicated face to face after that emails.

knew he was the one when i was waiting for my flight back home from first visit to him and i didnt want to go home. he made a comment about marrage and me not leaving and although i thought he was taking the mick, i was the happiest i'd been ever.
