this waiting is not fun anymore.....

 Huh? ... did you just imply there was a point when the waiting was fun?

My slogan is... waiting still sucks!

the first day when you sent in your petition is fun because it's so exciting, but it gets old the second day....

Yeah, I guess there is some excitement in having the thing officially out there and the process beginning... but I'm not sure I'd call that happy... I was just happy that the clock was officially ticking at that point... guess it's all relative though, hopefully when it is all said and done we'll all be happy with the results for the rest of our lives, despite the joys of the petition process...

Marm: Do you think bugging them will make them work faster on your case?, I really don't think so cause they might be investigating about you, you never know, there are a lot of things that make them think someone is dagerous for this country, most of the time they are wrong of course but there are problems like having the same name as a drug dealer, terrorist etc etc. And you don't know what is the issue with your case and all the other people here still waiting.

Just my thought don't take me wrong.

Hope everything turns all right.

Cuchita: I understand what you are saying, but I really do not think that is the case. I sent them the RFE and they resumed processing. The status update says: We will make a decision within 60 days of your RFE receipt (meaning 60 days after Jan 06, 2009). So if it were some security check our file was stuck in, I don't think they would be allowed to make such a statement.

Well vermont filers, it looks like this may just be your week, so far VSC has approved INFINITELY MORE petitions than CSC, that's right, INFINITELY MORE! With that kind of ratio I don't see how vermont filers could make it to the end of the week without an approval.

The down side is so far it's 0 approvals CSC and 1 VSC... all I can say is CSC apparently has two speeds now, warp and snooze...

U mean this:

Week Of # of NOA2s from CSC # of NOA2s per day from CSC # of NOA2s from VSC # of NOA2s per day from VSC Weighted* # of NOA2s per day from CSC

1 2009-01-19 1 0.33 1

2 2009-01-12 63 9.00 18

3 2009-01-05 52 7.43 16

Yeah. that looks "incredible promising" for VT.

Well, back when CSC had zero approvals and VSC had infinitely more... it looked quite promising, but now they are tied...

I'm all for sending USCIS a reminder say... once or twice a week... but some of what's being suggested would be over the top (if you did it to a person you'd be harrassing them... somehow I don't think that applies to a business so much but it's still a bad idea to go too far). Hourly reminders for example... would probably be treated as theft of service or some other form of 'damage'...

ETA: Oh yeah, looks like we'll hit page 300 this week... I say just for fun whoever make that's post... should win a cupie doll!

I am all set to begin calling persistently next week. As far as the faxes, I don't know if I should do them or not or how frequently...I just wish I don't have to deal with this b.s. Really want my approval this week.
