I just checked my status on USCIS web site today and it shows they have received my RFE response and it is still pending as usual. I got another phone line from my bf when I was talking with my friend. He told me to go on msn and accept the cam and I just couldn't believe what he had on his hand!!! It was NOA2!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

The date was 23 Jul 08 which was the last update date I thought it was checkup for my RFE. I'm still shaking and I dunno what to say. I just didn't expect we are that lucky to have it so fast. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone who are still waiting for the approval. Please go to CHECK YOU MAIL BOX if your status haven't change it for long time!! It seems CSC is getting faster now!!

Gosh I still didn't prepare anything for the next step, I need to read it up now!

AND THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR VJ and everyone being supportive and help me get through my problems and this tough process.

Wow - that's just over 3 months!!!!

That is so incredibly amazing! Congratulations!!!!

It amazes me how much CSC seems to be picking up the pace lately.. .just last week I was amazed that Feb/March filers were being approved right now, and now I'm amazed that there's an April filer being approved!!! Hopefully this is good tidings for the upcoming months. :) I don't know what I'd do if we were approved in just over three months (that'd put our approval in Oct or so)... I'd jump for joy!

Here's to hoping the rest of your process is just as fast!

7/28/2008 Petition Arrived to NVC - Got my new case number!

7/30/2008 NVC shipped petition to MEXICO!! Getting closer and closer!

7/30/2008 Petition Arrived to CDJ-(Electronically I suppose???)

8/04/2008 NVC hard copy in my mail box =D

9/02/2008 Mailing Jorge Interview Packet- Cost me 93 USD; worth it. He will hopefully get it on Thursday evening.

9/04/2008 Jorge Received the packet I sent him for the interview. YAY

9/05/2008 Jorge Received his packet 3 (identical to the one I received)

9/07/2008 Jorge flies to Juarez for Med and Interview

9/08/2008 Medical Date- went well :) He stood in line since 5:30 Am. He finished at 11:15 AM - ish

9/09/2008 Interview- SUCCESS!

9/16/2008 POE

9/17/1008 Arrives to East Wenatchee, WA

9/27/2008 Marriage

2/18/2009 - First day at new Job :)

4/20/2009- Resident Card Received NOW we're complete!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
