Weird, I tried again to add this case to my portfolio and it tells me the case isn't valid. I used the Application/receipt number we received...

Not too weird, its actually very typical. I called the USCIS spoke to an officer an she said it's pretty normal. I have the same problem. She told me normally after the bio you can see your case online. So don't worry too much.

How and where to you check to see if the check has been cashed? My AOS was received in Chicago, IL by Fed Ex this morning at 11:12am but no signature yet :/ Is this normal?

Hydey, you can check with your bank to see when the check clears. Either keep calling them or check on line, if you have online banking. If it works the same way it did with VSC and CSC, then you get the USCIS receipt number from the back of the check and that is what you use to track it with them on the USCIS site.

Hi and welcome... it takes a few days. I sent my package 8/13 signed for in Chicago 8/14 @8:35am my noticed was dated 8/18/08 and I received all three NOAs 8/21 and the bometrics appt. 2 days later. My check cleared 8/20 and I was able to view it at my bank later that day.

You will normally get a receipt in the mail within a couple of weeks.

You should be able to track those receipt numbers online on USCIS website.

Hi and welcome... it takes a few days. I sent my package 8/13 signed for in Chicago 8/14 @8:35am my noticed was dated 8/18/08 and I received all three NOAs 8/21 and the bometrics appt. 2 days later. My check cleared 8/20 and I was able to view it at my bank later that day.

I mailed mine on 8/22. I checked and it was delivered 8/24 at 6:48am. I hope to hear something in the next two weeks. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'll feel better once I get NOAs. Then I'll know the process has really started. They haven't cashed my check yet though. As of today anyway.

Well guys, I did a walk-in for my Biometrics. I went to my local office, walked in and asked if they could do it. Since there weren't many people they took me in. Took only about 20 minutes, my hands tend to sweat alot so they had to re-do them a couple of times. Took my picture and told me to expect my Work Permit in the next 30 to 60 days.

I was scheduled for next week! hehe

Took only about 20 minutes, my hands tend to sweat alot so they had to re-do them a couple of times. Took my picture and told me to expect my Work Permit in the next 30 to 60 days.

I was scheduled for next week! hehe

Hello everyone! I would be an August filer too :-) I sent my paperwork on August 1st and I'm very surprised I got my biometrics appointment for tomorrow at 8am....! Hope we all can have a speedy process...I remember the K1 was just a pain in the butt!
