The question is "How you qualify", not what your plans are.

C. Advance Parole Document

1. If you are in the United States, you must attach:

a. A copy of any document issued to you by USCIS showing your present status in the United States; and

b. An explanation or other evidence showing the circumstances that warrant issuance of an advance parole document; or

c. If you are an applicant for adjustment of status, a copy of a USCIS receipt as evidence that you filed the adjustment application;

d. If you are traveling to Canada to apply for an immigrant visa, a copy of the U.S. consular appointment letter.

I believe they mean - what makes you qualified for AP. That would be AOS, and I suppose you are filing 131 with 485. If not, you need NOA for 485, copy of I-94 and front passport page.

Farrah si piensas ir en Diciembre ve chekeando los tkts pero no te me caigas de la silla, our original plan was to go for Christmas but the tkts are around $2500 per person via Lan Chile, that's our favorite airline and is very convenient for us, instead we decided to go in August and I'm planing to go by myself in January.

Buena Suerte!

Browsing more on VJers response , here's what some attached to their I-131 Application:

Supporting documents for i-131

Form I-131 Application for Travel Document, Supplement Part 7 and Supporting Documents (Copy of K-1 Visa Page with Nonimmigrant Visa + U.S. Entry Stamp Page, Copy of I-485, Copy of K-1 Visa Approval Notice of Action (I-797) from USCIS for Petition I-129F, Copy of Marriage Certificate, 2 photos))

Are all documents necessary? Which one are primarily needed for I-131??
