Hi

Have October filers CR1 been approved?

After waiting so long and hearing nothing, what should I do? Is Vermont working?

I am 4 months pregnant and things are staring to get really hard.

If there are October filers still out there please let me know that I am not alone...

It sounds like it is time to start making inquiries to the USCIS and to your husband's representatives. Being kindly persistent can pay off. I certainly hope you are approved soon.

My NOA1 is January 10. I sent my petition on October 9,2007. My paperwork was also sent to Chicago and returned to Vermont. I am going to call Vermont today and see what happens.

Wish they'd update their processing dates... but I suspect it still won't help us when they finally do it.

I called the USCIS and they said that I should be hearing something within the next 30 days.

I'm also waiting since October.

Hey KIMF

I, too, filed in mid-October and have yet to hear a thing!!!! I actually have our son with me- my MOther-in-law has yet to lay eyes on her only grandchild although he was born in the US. It is very hard to live like this- especially when there are people that have filed 4 or 5 months ago and have received an approval. I guess all we can do is pray and hope this month otherwise I dont know what I will do.

I wish you all the best throughout your pregnancy and of course the journey as well

All we can do is wait

its so funny a quarter of all the march/April filers are approved yet October/Nov/Dec seems to get the shaft

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I sent my application to Vermont 10 Oct 2007. Received NOA1 1/10/08. Have not heard anything since. They have updated the processing time to Sept 3, 2007. I am praying and believing that an answer will come soon.

Doesn't it seem odd how many of us late-October ppl are still waiting while all around us people have been approved? Why overlook a specific time-period? There must be a reason. Are our files difficult to obtain? Lost?
