NVC...Not receiving the case...??

I don't want to discourage anyone, but our NOA 2 was MARCH 20, 2006 and hasn't reached the NVC yet :(

Well after reading this comment living in brasil sounds like a much better option than waiting to live with the person I love until the US finally decides to do their job the right way.

21/03 - VSC Received it

24/03 - NOA 1

27/03 - Check Cashed

08/04 - Biometrics received

July 8th - Approved

No need to be discouraged........I believe she filed a K-3 and from what I understand the NVC process is a bit different than the K-1 process at NVC.................All of us K-1 folks should have our applications forwarded to the embassy within 3-4 weeks......I am trying to keep a positive outlook to this....But the WAIT is VERY hard!!!!!!!!!!

My case was approved on MAY 1st, 2006..and i have called the NVC just right now...after 2 weeks..and they are still saying that they have not received the case yet...Has this happen to anyone else??? Please some input would really help...Thank you...

My Wife and Child were approved on April 27th and May 2nd , NVC received them on May the 8th and 9th , I called them today and they said to call them back next week , that it takes from 2 to 4 weeks before they create a case # and it might take up to 90 days.

Exactly, no need to be discouraged. Each case is individual and I am sure everything will work out for you guys faster. Keep your chins up! Everything is gonna be all right! ;)

September 20, 2006 - NOA1 for both AOS & EAD

September 27, 2006 - Biometrics appt letter recieved

October 5, 2006- Biometrics taken

October 10, 2006 - both I485 & EAD touched

November 1, 2006 - I485 touched

November 21, 2006 - still waiting ......

December 7,8,9 - touched

December 11, 2006- approval notice via email

December 15, 2006 - EAD arrives in mail with the wrong dates (03/21/07-03/20/08)

December 18, 2006 -InfoPass re: wrong dates (fixing the card will take another 90 days...)

January 13, 15, 2007-both I485, EAD touched

February 25, 2007 - Initial interview letter recieved in mail

April 18, 2007-Interview!

May 7, 2007- Approval notice sent

May 11, 2007-Permanent Residency Card arrived in mail

February 2, 2009- I -751 filed

February 6, 2009- NOA received

April 8, 2009- I 751 approved!

June 20, 2009- GC received

6/10/06: Involved congress person

6/19/06: Rec'd letter stating that inquiry was made to both NVC and USCIS regarding status of my petition

6/21/06: Travelled to go see my better half (boy was I excited)

7/3/06: Left my love once again (hopefully we shall see eachother soonest)

7/10/06: Followed up with congress person

7/10/06: Notified case was sent to the wrong place (go figure...how does it take 90 days to push paper from one location to the next) and has now been forwarded to NVC

7/18/06: NVC received case and has now issued a case number

7/20/06: NVC forwarded case to embassy

7/28/06: Lagos embassy confirms receipt of case into system

8/1/06: Pick up packet 3 and 4

8/25/06: Interview Date

Our NOA2 was received on 05/01/06 and it has not been received by the NVC yet.

I received and email last night that our Case Approval was being mailed to us yesterday 05/17/06.

Hope this helps a bit. We are all anxiously waiting for news!!

January - 2006

BIG NEWS - Found out we are having Identical Twin Girls!! Due on June 22, 2007!!

Second birthday is on the way! At 21 months - both girls can count to 10 in English and Spanish thanks to our babysitter.

06-26-07 - Abe flies to Houston, TX

07-13-07 - Abe and I are married start our new lives together

04-11-07 - Green Card awarded and Abe can start to work

09-01-07 - Abe starts to school as a draftsman

05-18-08 - Identical girls born 5lbs 4 oz and 5lbs 7 oz. Lily and Delilah have finally arrived

I-751 Filing Time

01-25-09 - Green card set to expire 04-11-09- time to file for removal of condition

03-03-09 - Mailed paperwork for I-751 to Vermont directly - not Texas Service Center

03-05-09 - Checks cashed for Biometrics and application fee

03-05-09 - Received I-797C NOA from Vermont Service Center

04-17-09 - 11 AM - Biometrics appointment scheduled
