0. The key is, you use them, don't let them use you.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

$800, only because our lawn mower died and we needed a new one pronto. It will be paid off by the end of the year, max.

I have debt courtesy of the ex-husband but not much and it's almost paid off. It was hard to really put a dent in it when I was doing everything with one income and no child support. But I haven't USED credit cards in ages and I don't know if I ever will again.

$0 I'm the same way as rkl. I use my card for miles/points and pay it off every month. Also, I like to just have everything on one statement instead of looking at all sorts of #######. Works better for me. Every once in awhile I'll go crazy on spending and not pay it all off one month. Maybe once a year that will happen, but I pay it the next month.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
