that just makes me red with anger!!! i live in norcal and on a clear day i can see the dang refineries. we truck gas out from here to other regions/areas but we pay higher prices. the greed is just astounding. just yesterday i paid $4.99 a gallon.

I was passing through southern Kentucky the other day and saw one gas station that had regular for $3.81 which suprised me. That is the lowest I have seen it recently.

Gas prices here in So Jersey are $3.61 regular - cash. It looks like they are relatively cheaper less expensive, than most places. Still too darn high IMO. well at least we don't have to pump it

Part of it is the special blend that is required in California due to the environmental laws in this state. Also prevents us from importing gasoline from other states when they have a surplus available, since we aren't allowed to use their gas formula.
