When I saw that envelope I thought to myself... "Oh no... not a RFE!!"

But when I opened the envelope I saw that under needed documents it had listed "DS230"

I already sent that a couple of weeks ago though.

Maybe they hadnt gotten it yet before they sent this letter?

Should I re-send it?

I think I read somewhere before the some thing simular happened to someone here.

Any advice?

This is standard , it means that your AOS is done and they are missing the DS-230 because they havent entered it in the system yet, since you sent them in about the same time they did not have it in their system that you had sent it in. You can call them and they will tell you that they have it now. No worries, same thing happened to me but i didnt wait for the letter, I have this sick need to call and listen to the AVR everyday  so when it said they were missing something i called them and they said that it was the DS 230 which they have now and it is entered in the system.

It depends though. Did you send the DS-230 with the required documents before the NVC they had generated it? If so, you will have to resend the DS-230 packet. If not, then you're fine and your case should be completed within 2-3 weeks.

False alarm!

Im so goofy. I should have called before I posted this.

I called them and they said they received my DS-230

So I should hear something in 2-4 weeks.

How long does it usually take before case complete?

Not really 2 - 4 weeks right?

I don't know these days, seems maybe they got Bombarded with tons of DS-230 at the same time and now they are busy trying to complete cases. Mine was entered on 6/23 and I still yet to hear anything. Just got a letter stating that our status was changed from CR-1 to IR-1  At least I don't have to worry about that.... I am praying our case complete soon!

Good luck to all of us!
