AGE DIFFERENCE?

Hi everyone...me and my husband have 7 years of age difference...how about yours? Does it really matters or does it really affects somehow in your relationship as couples.?

age doesn't matter to me. stay young at heart and have a happy life.

I just turned 24 and my fiancee will turn 20 in november. We don't see it as a problem and she always tells me she wanted someone around my age, but we met when she was only 15 and I wasn't sure if it would work at that stage. Turns out she's suprisingly mature for her age and it basically evens out.

I have a filipina friend that just arrived in the USA that is like 20 and her fiance is 50 something. So yeah, big age gaps are ok.

I don't anticipate any problems with my age gap with my wife. I'm 41 and she's 22.

I'm 11 years older than my SO, investigator told me that is the reason we are in AP so it definetly matters at some Embassy's

I agree to all ....age really dnt matter till you know whats in ur heart.I am 56 and he is 31...so theres a 25 yrs age difference.Somepeople look at us when they hear of it. So long our compatibility goes its fine and great.It may cause some trouble when we get more elder say after 15 yrs or so ...but then you can decide future from today.Yes so long Love is concerened age doesnt matter.

52 and 21 . 30years 9 months difference. Age was not mentioned during our interview. Just my opinion but I don't think the U.S. government can discriminate based on age except for the job of President (35?).

ha do u feel (that ) stops at 56, im sure they have just as normal life as anyone would, whatever age, live each day because you dont know what will happen the next

they can and they do, but you will never see it written as a reason to deny, seems some embassy its ok especially if the man is older, turn it around with the woman older and they start changing the rules

Well I don't know about your case but if a embassy employee is not following the law and rules maybe you need to get a lawyer involved.

this is nothing new in casa we are all aware and deal with it, they will just find other reason to state if questioned, then again few go thru with the age with no prob, just the way it is there

The greater the age difference the more difficult the hurdle of convincing a a Conoff a bona fide relationship exists. The curve of difficulty would start getting pretty steep for age differences in excess of 25 years and even more steep when the woman is older and steeper yet again when the relationship is contrary to local customary norms.

All of this is part of the totality of circumstances the Conoff is required to consider.

Concluding a bona fide marriage relationship exists between a couple with an age difference of 40 years is pretty far-fetched but certianly possible. The unique set of circumstances needs to be considered in full. Any suggestion the age difference won't enter into the evaluation is a fantasy.
