SFH's aren't going to go away. There will be fewer of them in urban and suburban areas with population densities high enough to warrant denser housing. But we will always have rural areas and we will always have individuals wealthy enough to afford the SFH in non-rural areas.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Do you guys actually see a lot of Hummers on the streets? I don't. Never have. Maybe 1-2 a year.

Come on down here. There are still lots of them. Not as bad as it was but there are still way too many.

I don't think their owners would even notice the price difference... not exactly the poorest sections of society.

I see at least one Hummer everytime I go out.

But what I see more of than those is trucks. (I live in the land of testosterone :P ).

The trendy chickas who have been driving SUV's because they were 'cool' are switching soon to hybrids and/or other 'cute' cars.

Tulsa is the same -- trucks, trucks and more trucks -- and it's those extra wide ones too, which I don't understand. It's not like they are actually carrying/towing anything as they are driving around.

NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

That's about the time my husband will come here (he better be here by august anyways) and I've already been talking to him about gas prices and he is ever so blunt......no he needs a car and he will just get low on gas. All I can do is laugh in his face and say "What car is low on gas anymore?"

And certainly $6 a gallon...

Now I notice you are in sunny cali.....are you speaking specifically of cali prices or the national average?
