Hey hey,

I'm trying hard to stay positive about things at this point! Our NOA1 date is 2/8/06 and it seems like there are an awful lot of March NOA1s being approved in California right now. If your NOA1 was in January or early February and you're still waiting for NOA2, you're not alone. How many of you are there out there? Hopefully we'll hear something soon... :(

I don't know if it'd help to find other. Have you tried the Immigration Timelines link and narrowed the search to your processing center and the country your fiance(e) is from?

You can sort it also be column dates and then contact them.

Have you tried to contact the processing center?

I know some have had RFEs and contacted someone in USCIS I think at the processing center they're at.

I think some of the info the USCIS puts out says to call them after a certain period of time.

Sorry I can't help more.

Just some suggestions.

Keep the faith!

Larry and Maria

Have you tried calling them ?

Calling the number listed on the processing times page? No, I haven't called. I've emailed though. Does one work better than the other?

I tried calling the 1 800 number listed on the processing times page of the USCIS but didn't even hear an option to speak with a human being. Does anyone know a different number to call or even a number for CSC??? Desperation...

This is how you talk to a person at USCIS

800#----1-----2-----6-----1-----WAC#-----1-----Wait a little bit and than 3-----1.

The automated idiot will talk for 2 minutes and than tell you how long will it be before you get a live person.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

- Vishrit

THANK YOU! I'll try Monday. Hopefully it won't take longer than my lunch hour ;)

My fiance called the number today to see if he could talk to someone but all he got was automation. I don't have a clue what is going on. I've emailed twice and now we've called. I guess we are going to have to wait. Jon emailed his congressman too but maybe he should call them directly and see if they will help us this way. I mean its just getting ridiculous and its pissing me off.

:lol::lol: sooooooooooo true

in my thoughts, since we had NOA1s BEFORE the march 6 thingy, we are going thru the "extra" security checks for the reason of, ours were there, and it will have gone thru it already not needing to be returned. I waited bout 6 months for my approval, and i wasnt in AR or nothing. Just doing background checks.

I believe theres a delay due to this. I would much rather have this then having the whole petition returned after arriving at the embassy for the extra checks.

for the OT, stay calm you will get it soon. deffinatly call the 800 number and ask about your case.

Good Luck

hugs,

Tara
