Just checked the USCIS site for our case information and it had the following:

Does this means that only an approval notice was sent out? When can my husband expect to receive the actual card?

Benita,

It means that an approval notice was sent out, it says nothing about the card.

Has your husband had his photo and fingerprint appointment for the card at an ASC yet?

Yodrak: He had his biometrics for the AOS and EAD on March 21st.

Everyone else: Thanks for all the wonderful replies (F)(F) , it was a huge relief to see this in writing yesterday. I know he is ready to work. He has been watching our daughter and even though he loves her to death, he is ready to interact with adults on a daily basis. :D
