Early Bio apointment

Hi All,

Just got my bio apointment notice today. I remember reading on here that some people had just gone in a few weeks early and were able to complete the biometrics without writing in and changing the date?

I have looked all over VJ for the post and can't seem to find it.

Anyone have any information on this

When someone tried what you are contemplating when we were at the ASC office, the guard at the door gave the person a "royal chewing out". Making explicit comments that you can come later than scheduled time but not before.... This was simply one person's observation.

Some people went before...not weeks before..just a few days...they didnt change appointment...just went there and ask if could be before and some offices did. I just know that after the appointment you cannot go (as the appointment letter explains). I think that nana_35 (I think is like this) from march filers went before...

Why don't you call to the office, say that will near the area and ask if you can do before...

Ok, I will call tomorrow.

I may just head over there on Wednesday morning early as I quite close and the worst they can do is chew me out for coming on the wrong day . Its worth it...I'll keep you updated on what happens though.

I walked in for a bio appointment about 2 weeks early in Denver. I went on a Tuesday and they told me very nicely that the walk in day was Wednesday, or I could try Sat morning as well. They also said the afternoon was less busy....no scheduled appointments. So I came back the next day and was in and out in 15 mintutes.

Woth a try, I'd say.

BTW it did not speed up my application - I received my EAD and AP at similar times as people with the same NOA dates as me.....

Hi there that person is me, I went in to take my bio the very next day after receiving my bio notice, but many others have tried also, most suceeded some didnt. I dont believe calling will help though, all uscis will say is that is is up to the immigration officer on sight, here is the post I wrote describing my entire experience, Best of luck to you!!

Could you please tell us how you checked for your four NOA's on line? we have a very similar timeline to yours and we received the biometrics letter today. In order to check on line you'd have to have a case number and the biometrics notice had two, one for the 485 and the other for the 765, what are the other two (I figure one of them is the Advance Parole one) and how did you obtain the case number to check on line?

I'd appreciate your help with this info

Hi Antonio y Olga,

I typed in the receipt number on all the seperate NOA's , i was not able to view it though until I received the Biometrics appointment letter.

It would start with three letters and 10 numbers:

Example: MSC-------

You can try going in earlier than scheduled as others have said. I went to the one in Atlanta as well and from what I experienced, the people there are pretty friendly and helpful. If you want to be in and out, try getting there an hour early, that way when they open the doors, you can talk to the immigration officer. With the warmer weather, people line up outside earlier to be the 1st in line. You could be 1st in line, but not the 1st to be seen. It depends on how fast you can write your info on the clipboard. Remember not to bring your cell phone, or any electronics inside. Have your appointment letter and any ID you have to get in. Good luck!

But I don't have the receipt numbers except for the two that the biometrics letter had, which pertained to the I485 and I765, my question was how do I access the other two case numbers on line since I don't have them (one is for the advance parole the other I'm not sure what it is for.

My question was directed to the person who wrote there are four NOA's and he was able to access them online (apparently without the benefit of having received the hard copies in the mail)
