Interview notice received!!!

Wow! I don't know how the interview came up so fast (3 mo from applying), but I'm not going to complain!!!! I find it really strange that I haven't even received my AP or EAD, yet I have the AOS interview in a month.

Does anyone know what happens if I don't receive my AP/EAD by the time I go to my interview? If I'm approved that day, can they give me some kind of document right then so I can start working, or will I have to wait until I actually have the green card? I've got a job waiting for me, so I'm anxious to start!

Congratulations!

You certainly don't have to wait for the EAD, nor the GC once you get approved. They will stamp your passport and that'll be good for a year or until your GC arrives, and yes you can now start working :)
