Hi all.. As I am sitting here, looking at my DS 230, I am starting to second guess myself. Please assist in figuring this out!

1. Would you just list the former visas held... or each and every time a person came to visit home and back (a few weeks vacation, etc)?

2. "A" number = alien registration #, right?

Also, I think I am going crazy. I kept reading the instructions.. do you just need one photocopy of your bio passport page and that's that - not of your family members' or anything if you're applying alone? I know, crazy question..

Any help is much appreciated.. would hate to get an RFE! Thanks, guys.

Hi,

The A number is the Alien Registration Number, you many not have one unless you have previously resided in the USA.

Regarding the passport, not all passports have a similar design to the US passport, so in our case we had to send a few pages, since the Guyana passport had been renewed, name changed due to marriage, and updated photographs.

Why would you put your new A# down for past visits. Assuming you didn't have a A# before this application, shouldn't you put "NONE".
